Raccoon Audio Privacy Policy

Raccoon Audio Inc. (“Raccoon Audio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) develops and sells audio plug-ins and related software. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate our products, website, customer accounts, licensing systems, support services, and communications.
This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the service providers we rely on, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Licence and activation information is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.
3 · How We Use Information
We may use information for purposes including:
- Creating and maintaining customer accounts
- Providing software licences and managing activations
- Processing orders, payments, refunds, and transaction records
- Providing technical and customer support
- Maintaining security and preventing abuse or fraudulent use
- Improving our products, website, and customer experience
- Sending required account, order, licence, and service communications
- Sending newsletters, mixing and production tips, product news, promotional offers, and other marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law
4 · Email & Marketing Communications
We use email addresses to send transactional communications such as order confirmations, licence information, account notices, support messages, security notices, and other communications necessary to provide our products and services.
We may also send newsletters, mixing and production tips, product news, promotional offers, sales announcements, and related marketing communications where you have consented or where such communications are otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Marketing communications include an unsubscribe option. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in a marketing email or by contacting support@raccoonaudio.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending transactional or service-related messages that are necessary to administer your account, purchases, licences, security, or support requests.
5 · Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where privacy law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, our bases may include:

7 · Service Providers, Sharing & International Processing
We do not sell personal information.
We use third-party service providers to operate parts of our business. Depending on how you interact with Raccoon Audio, these may include:

Raccoon Audio may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:

- Shopping-cart and checkout functionality
- Website security
- Remembering preferences
- Understanding general website usage and performance
Where required, optional analytics or similar cookies are subject to the choices provided through our cookie or consent tools.
9 · Your Choices & Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain uses.
You may also:
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages
- Contact us to request removal of personal information associated with your account, subject to information we may need to retain for legal or operational reasons
- Ask questions about how your information is collected or used

10 · Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the services we operate. These may include HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, secure password hashing, restricted administrative access, and measures intended to keep credentials and service secrets out of publicly accessible source code.
No method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security or represent that our systems are immune from all security risks.
11 · Children’s Privacy
Our products and services are not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information improperly, please contact us.
12 · Raccoon Growth & Google API Services
Raccoon Audio operates a private internal application called Raccoon Growth to help prepare and publish Raccoon Audio marketing content to Raccoon Audio’s own online accounts, including YouTube.
Raccoon Growth is an internal business tool. It is not offered as a public service and does not allow customers or members of the public to connect their Google or YouTube accounts.
Raccoon Growth uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API to authorize uploads to Raccoon Audio’s own YouTube channel.
Through this integration, Raccoon Growth may process information needed to perform and track Raccoon Audio’s own publishing activity, including Google authorization credentials, YouTube video identifiers, upload status, video titles, descriptions, and links to uploaded videos.
Raccoon Growth does not use its Google authorization to access unrelated Google services such as Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, browsing history, or advertising profiles.
Google OAuth credentials, including refresh tokens, are stored in Raccoon Audio-controlled application infrastructure and are used only to authorize the Google and YouTube functionality described above.
Google and YouTube information accessed through Raccoon Growth is not sold or used for advertising. Access is limited to authorized Raccoon Audio personnel and service providers required to operate the application.
Raccoon Growth is separate from Raccoon Audio’s customer account, purchasing, licensing, and mailing-list systems. Customer account and purchase information is not used by Raccoon Growth to publish content to YouTube.
Raccoon Audio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including applicable Limited Use requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, practices, technology, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was most recently revised.
