Core controls
Shape the stew in three moves.
Dial in weight, steer the tone, then add motion. OctoWah stays simple on the surface but gives you a lot of attitude fast.
Octave
Sub weight, dual octaves, and extra growl from one knob.
This is the beefy foundation of OctoWah Stew. Start turning and you get a thick sub octave. Keep going and a second octave voice joins in, then the whole thing starts to pick up a little grit and saturation.
- Adds instant girth, sub, and growl to monophonic parts.
- Great on guitar leads, synth bass, and other single-note parts.
- Tracks confidently down to about a low C for strong low-note performance.
Tilt
A full-spectrum tone sweep for the octave voice.
Tilt is the fast way to move the whole flavor of the octave sound. Leave it at noon for neutral, turn left for warmer fundamentals, or go right to lean into bite, distortion, and a leaner low end.
- 12:00 keeps the octave tone balanced and untouched.
- Left pulls things warmer and more bass-focused by easing off upper harmonics.
- Right brings out more rasp, edge, and harmonic texture in a second.
Wah
Three auto-wah flavors for vowel motion and bounce.
Leave it off when you just want the octave layers dry and solid. Switch it on and OctoWah starts to talk back, with three distinct wah characters that can go from subtle movement to bubbly, animated funk.
- Three distinct auto-wah characters to try.
- Adds vocal, bubbly motion to the sub-octave sound.
- Perfect for turning a static octave part into something lively and musical.
